Threadly
Last updated 10 October 2026
Threadly indexes your AI chats in your browser. Nothing from your chats is sent to us.
Stays in your browser
Chat titles and messages from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are read using your own logged-in session and stored in your browser (IndexedDB) to power folders and search.
Folders, tags, prompts and exports are created and kept locally.
Sent to our server
Only the shared licence data described in our main policy. No chat content is ever sent to us.
Like every extension we make: your install id, your licence if you have one, usage counts for plan limits, and optional “Help improve” data if you turn it on. See the main privacy policy.
Your choices
Uninstalling removes everything the extension stored in your browser. To have the data on our server deleted, email us.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Threadly follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
