Harvest collects data from pages in your browser. Only AI column design and shared recipes use our server.
Stays in your browser
Pages are read and scraped in your browser, at a human pace, only on sites you allow. Results and exports stay on your computer.
Notion and Airtable tokens are stored locally and used directly from your browser; they are never sent to us.
Sent to our server
AI column design: a short sketch of the list (a few sample rows, never the whole page), the site’s host name and, if you typed one, your description of the columns you want. The resulting column design is cached per site layout and shared without recording who asked.
Recipe share links: the recipe you share (name, site, selectors and column settings, no scraped data) is stored with your install id so anyone with the link can import it.
Monthly AI counts and daily share counts.
Like every extension we make: your install id, your licence if you have one, usage counts for plan limits, and optional “Help improve” data if you turn it on. See the main privacy policy.
Other services
Anthropic (Claude): AI column design from the sample rows.
Google permissions
Asked for only when you use the feature, and used only for it:
drive.file: Google Sheets sync: creates and updates only the spreadsheets Harvest makes for you, directly from your browser.
Harvest’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don’t use Google user data for advertising, don’t sell it, don’t let people read it except with your consent, for security or where the law requires, and don’t use it to train AI models.
Your choices
Uninstalling removes everything the extension stored in your browser. To have the data on our server deleted, email us.
